International EMBRACE Conference
A symposium of 1 day was organized as a special session of BMT2025, held in Basel (Switzerland), 9-11 September 2025. BMT2025 is the conjoint international conference of the German, Austrian and Swiss societies for biomedical engineering. It has the main focus on the recent achievements in biomedical engineering and its applications; therefore, it perfectly suited the scope of the EMBRACE final event.
Members of all EMBRACE partners contributed to the EMBRACE symposium with one or more talks on their specific contributions to the project and main achievements.
Two experts from outside the EMBRACE consortium were invited to contribute with keynotes on specific topics:
- Ernesto Pereda, Full Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Universidad de La Laguna (San Cristóbal, Spain), will give a talk on “Brain-to-Brain coupling – A review of hypersynchronization in joint action”
- Federico Ramirez, Researcher at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain), will give a talk on “Benefits of automatic EEG pre-processing in the era of large databases”
The complete program of the EMBRACE symposium, organized in 4 sessions, is included in the following pages as downloaded from the conference website (https://programme.conventus.de/en/bmt-2025/program/schedule/2025-09-10/grid )
